Cannabinoids are plants based keys to the locks in our bodies
- How many cannabinoids are in the hemp plant?
- The answer: many…well over 100.
Major and measurable cannabinoids would be CBD, CBG, CBC, CBN. The vast majority of CBD products are measured by the content of CBD alone because it is by far the most prevalent. There are new strains coming to the mainstream that are very high in CBG. So, full spectrum CBD products will also contain CBG, CBC, CBN, and all other minor cannabinoids. Broad spectrum products may have slightly fewer cannabinoids due to filtering out the THC.
Cannabidiol, or CBD for short, is one of many beneficial phyto-compounds produced by Cannabis Sativa. The hemp plant is gaining ever-increasing popularity in the health and wellness community. This is for good reason, as CBD is an entirely natural, safe, and non-addictive supplement that can produce excellent results.
Our 1500mg Broad Spectrum CBD tinctures are an extremely popular way to consume CBD – and for good reason. CBD has been increasingly gaining popularity over the past few years due to its ease of use and safety. Tinctures have remained an excellent choice for those who regularly use CBD as well as for those who are trying it for the first time.
Best of all, most of our tinctures are made from the organic, pesticide free hemp plants we grow right here at our farm! Nebraska baby!
What Is a Tincture, Anyway?
Many who are just beginning to look into CBD remain a bit unclear on exactly what makes a tincture a tincture and why it is helpful to use. In short, a tincture is a highly concentrated plant compounds that are extracted from the plant. In the case of CBD, a tincture is made by soaking the resinous flowers of the hemp plant in high-proof food grade alcohol (ethanol). We then slowly evaporate the alcohol off to produce a very pure unrefined oil. The crude then undergoes other purification and filtration steps. After final distillation, it is a potent extract that can be added right into many topical consumer products or further distilled for tinctures.
Tinctures are very easy to administer. All that is necessary is simply to dispense it under the tongue via a dropper. While tinctures can be mixed with food or beverages, administering them sublingually (under the tongue) is optimal. This is the best method for quick absorption. Finding the best dosage for your personal needs may require some experimentation at first. It is recommended to start with a small amount and work your way up to the dosage that feels appropriate for your needs.
Does 3000mg CBD Broad Spectrum contain THC?
Our Broad Spectrum CBD Oil contains very small trace amounts of THC. Broad spectrum distilled extract has a near zero level of THC but it can still possibly show up on a drug test. Our CBD oils contain .3% or less Delta 9 THC which is federally compliant with the 2018 USDA Farm Bill. If you have drug testing at your workplace please know that even small amounts of THC can result in a failed drug test. If you possess a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) you should not consume CBD oils orally as they will also result in a failed drug test and you can be taken out of service and required to take a prevention program at your own cost to be reinstated.
